One Day At A Time – Bases
“One Day At A Time” is an ongoing visual / poetic project (WiP).
It’s formal bases are:
- daily blog entry (on working days)
- combination of photograph and text (caption)
- photo’s exclusively taken with personal cell phone
- images are not manipulated (other than possible distortions caused by the device’s technical limitations, either through approximation to the object, excess or lack of lighting, or by having taken the picture in movement).
It’s conceptual bases are:
- take a new look on objects from our daily life that allow for a reinterpretation of the world we live in.
- offer a second reinterpretation through a caption that points out a different view of the image.
“One Day At A Time” es un proyecto poético/visual abierto (WiP).
Las premisas formales son las siguientes:
- entrada diaria en el blog (días laborales)
- unión fotografía y texto en forma de pie de foto
- utilización exclusiva de fotografías tomadas con móvil personal
- imágenes no manipuladas (más allá de las posibles distorsiones obtenidas debido a las limitaciones técnicas del aparato, bien sea por emplear planos excesivamente próximos al objeto fotografiado, bien por la escasez o exceso de luz en la escena o bien por haberse realizado la fotografía “en movimiento”).
Las premisas conceptuales son las siguientes:
- aplicar una mirada nueva sobre los objetos y el mundo cotidiano que suponga una reinterpretación del mundo en que vivimos.
- ofrecer una segunda reinterpretación, sugerida gracias a la inclusión de un texto a pie de foto que apunte a una relectura de la imagen.
